Hi,
Virgin Mobiles has already proved its name in many countries, it has recently started it service in India. They have launched its service in collaboration with already a major telecom provider TATA (Telco Tata Teleservices).
It seems a fresh competition among the Telcos is going to spark the price war in rates and plans. With its launch of new unusual plans, they are sure to revolutionize the Indian Telecom market. I don't see the day far when we will be able to place calls to and from India totally free. This will sure to affect the Indian VOIP market. Already we see many ads about boradband phone in Indian newspapers. Earlier one was even charged for Incoming calls, now we are paid for it.

More features about the Virgin Mobile (India).
They will pay (add to the balance) users 0.10 Paise for each 60-second call, just to receive a call in their own network, that is when your are not in roaming. So, I guess receiving calls should not now hurt you much because you will be paid for it.
With so many mobile users in India, Virgin mobile had some really good marketing plans.
It is a CDMA Technology, so if you want to use their service, you need to buy separate phones.
They have a cool range of Mobiles Phones, and they don't even charge much for them.
Check more details about their plans and mobile phone on their website, VirginMobile.
