After the takeover of the Caretaker government, Bangladesh stopped all illegal VOIP services. Recently, they are allowing VOIP licenses to Internet Service Providers. This is good news for people who call from and to Bangladesh, it means cheaper rates. Before the government came to power, many illegal VOIP providers provided extremely cheap rates to Bangladesh, after the new government regulations the cheap rates were not available anymore...
Therefore, as the licenses go into place, callers will have more options as to providers and because of competition cheap rates will have to be issued.
