Now, there is also competitor in the crowded free player VoIP market. They are coming up with innovative services to lure the customers. One such free player in the fray is VBuzzer, the brainchild of Softroute Corporation.
First of all, Vbuzzer is a VoIP and IM software, based on SIP and XMPP. It is also a competitor of Skype and other open standard VoIP giants.
It is a softphone that offers free basic PC to PC calling service as well as paid PC to phone service. It supports Blackberry, Palm Treo, mobile phones and cell phones.
Softroute has made two recent announcements for Vbuzzer. They are Vbuzzer Free and Vbuzzer Premium. With Vbuzzer Free offer, you can get one minute free test call on sign up, IM services, Free PC to PC Calls, Free Voicemail and finally MSN Messenger Service.
Vbuzzer Premium charges 1.5 Cent per minute call to US, Canada and China. However, it ensures effective communication services including enriched call quality with security and IM, VoIP and Fax in one application program.
